I asked some of my friends for brunch recommendations and which one the best, Myriad Bistro is a better choice, apparently I just knew from my friends that there are a restaurant in a very convenient location in South Jakarta, then my friend came with some comparisons, they say the best food is in South Jakarta, the best ambiance belongs to Myriad Bistro for its white clean ambiance (and best for pictures), but Myriad Bistro is one of the newest establishment from the group, then after some considerations, finally decided to try out Myriad Bistro for the industrial look that I like (from Google) and the fact that it's new so I can make a fresh quick review about it.
Myriad Bistro is located at Prof Sutono SH No. 31, Kebayoran baru South Jakarta and it's just waiting around 15 minutes after you order until the food was finished cooking, where I spent my Holy Friday in South Jakarta, anyway in case you've never heard, as I stepped inside, I was very pleased by the look of this gorgeous cafe/bistro: it's almost like this awesome meeting place (or power collaboration) redecorated, details added here and there and voila, a "high-level" industrial cafe to cater your lust for productive cafes, along with the expectation that the food better be good.
The energy that afternoon was great, especially since I was going to meet a friend of mine, Mrs. G, whom I haven't met for 1-2 years since the uni days!!! Somehow fate "arranged" us to meet here, in South Jakarta, just grateful!

UMAMI GYUDON & CARBONARA FETTUCINE
Didn't try this alone, eat this with your friends, but I gotta admit Umami Gyudon is pretty delicious!
This Umami Gyudon has been among my personal food bucketlist for quite some time and to finally be able to experience this was (hyperbolically) monumental, it feels so good to be able to tick off something you've really wanted to do or try in your life! A lot sliced beef is great, soft and tasty Gyudon in the world (especially their spiced mushroom).
Anyway I would not disagree, if there are several people make a statement that in some bistros couldn't giving delicious pasta, probably I think they're in bad luck coming to the bistro that's not right, but promise me this one's indeed THE BEST one I've had so far! Didn't expect the portion to be that big and unfortunately this wonderful play of texture, flavor, and how creamy carbonara sauce in a plate! Overall was perfect (even after in general they sprinkle oregano powder over the pasta and around it) with Sliced Smoked Beef, and sprinkling of Parmesan Cheese!
GREEN MANGO COCKTAILS - for 2-3 person
This is undoubtedly quite fresh but to be completely frank with you, the cocktails is very good: fragrant, great taste and the fresh melon pieces make the whole not too sweet. If you fancy, you're given the chance to choose between Cocktails or Mocktails instead of Recommended drinks to sharing, they're just the best!
Maybe it was the ambiance, or maybe it was the company, but I had a good time at Myriad Bistro. I have to come back and explore more food to give full review about the food, but what I had was really not bad at all, particularly with the waiter who served me. Short to say, Myriad Bistro is one of the New Bistro in Jakarta with amazing decorating and well put concept. Going to revisit when I'm back in South Jakarta for sure!!!
